Curtis Colbary - Owner

Curtis is the owner and founder of Showtime Supplements located in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. The young entrepreneur grew up playing multiple sports from lacrosse to baseball, but found a love for hockey in his later teen years. Curtis went on to play 2 years of Junior A hockey in the CHL from British Columbia, Ontario to the Maritimes. Training at multiple different facilities in Ontario (Twist Conditioning Center in Whitby, ON & Top Performance Training in Peterbough, ON) where he began to learn about different sports nutrition products and the effects they can have on performance. After a severe concussion ended his hockey dream, he found a new love for the gym. Once September came around, Curtis decided to attend St. Francis Xavier University and study business, where he was introduced to his mentor, Mark MacIsaac. “Mark made me prepare, plan, research and think outside the box. I really felt that he was able to bring out the best in me, and always pushed me in a positive direction. I can’t say thank you to Mark enough for what he has done for myself as well as Showtime,” said Curtis. “We want to listen to our customers and make them feel like this is as much our store as It is theirs.” 


Taylor Olsen - Operations Management

Taylor is Curtis’ right hand as the Operations Manager. She is a fourth year Business student at St.FX majoring in Management with a focus in Human Resources. Taylor grew up in the small town of Cobourg Ontario where she was involved in all sorts of activities. A few of her favorites include her participation in vocal competitions as well as her involvement with Community Living facilities in Southern Ontario. Taylor has been working with Curtis since the beginning and has been a big part of Showtime’s success. “I’m shocked, while incredibly thankful of the attention the business has received so far and am very excited to be apart of its growth moving forward. Curtis and I have work towards this since the first day he told me he wanted to start a business and I couldn’t be happier with what we have accomplished”. She went on to add, “We want to make Showtime a very integrated and involved brand that local communities can be proud of. We want to create a network of athletic enthusiasts as ourselves and give our customers that one-stop-shop. Our team of two is quickly expanding and we could not be more excited for the future of Showtime.”
